currently studying/ researching economic development strategies to address disinvestment in minority communities, specifically black communities.

our focus is restaurants and dining spaces as an instrument of economic development. we'll be posting a few of the reports.

here's a report from VEDC, a community development financial institution, servicing small businesses with loans. JP Morgan Chase recently created a new fund, investing $3m with VEDC to invest in African American businesses. Paltry to say the least. Anyway, this report discusses the importance of supporting African American owned businesses.
